The only thing that separates the two is lipase, an enzyme that breaks down body oils. Some detergents already include it; most don’t, and few list their ingredients.

If yours does list lipase, Gear Guard Original is all you’re missing. If you're not sure, which is completely normal, Gear Guard Advanced has both, so you’re sorted either way.
